A.I. Limoges

What if amongst broken china, glue and cast off gems, A.I. adopts the human form?

This project was such an ongoing, ever changing, enjoyable process! I was inspired by a vintage Limoges set of gold rimmed china. I attempted to build a cloak of layers; gathered  information, much of it still disconnected like islands in a great ocean of knowledge. The extensive use of gold, old machine parts, (some much distressed with age) and rhinestones and the occasional gem gives her a modern, regal air, reminiscent of the golden idols worshipped in ancient history. 

The result? Pleased to say, both elegant and unsettling!
